What we collect

• Newsletter signups. If you join our email list, we collect your email address through a Google Form.
• Business listing forms. If you claim or submit a listing, we collect the details you send us — your name, email, your role with the business, and the business information you provide.
• Basic website analytics. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information (such as pages visited and general device/browser type) to keep the site running and understand what neighbors find useful.

How we use it

• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To verify, create, update, or remove business listings.
• To reply when you contact us.
• To improve the site for local residents and businesses.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We never share your email address with listed businesses or advertisers.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing hello@mymaineville.com. We will take care of it promptly.

Third-party services

Our signup and listing forms are provided by Google, and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Information you submit through those services is also handled under their privacy policies.

Children

MyMaineville is a general-audience community site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Listing Terms & Disclaimer

Listing information

Business details on MyMaineville — names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, and descriptions — come from the businesses themselves and from publicly available sources. We work hard to keep everything accurate and current, and we verify listings by hand, but information can change at any time without notice. We cannot guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Deals & specials

Deals, coupons, and specials posted on MyMaineville are offered by the individual businesses, and each business is responsible for its own offers and for honoring them. Offers may change, sell out, or end early. Please confirm the details with the business before you go — a deal still shown on the site may already have ended.

Events

Event dates, times, and details are provided by organizers and public sources and may change or be cancelled. Please confirm with the event organizer before attending.

No endorsement, no responsibility for businesses

A listing on MyMaineville is not an endorsement or recommendation. MyMaineville is a directory, not a party to any transaction or service between you and a listed business, and we are not responsible for the products, services, or experiences any listed business provides, or for any loss or damage connected with relying on information on this site.

For business owners

If you own a listed business, you can claim your listing to keep it accurate. If anything about your listing is wrong — or you would like it removed — email hello@mymaineville.com and we will fix or remove it promptly, free of charge.

Links to other sites

MyMaineville links to business websites, maps, and social media pages. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
